When his community was attacked by a non-state armed group, *Abdul was captured and taken into the bush for a while.
After they were rescued by the military, he was taken to GDSS Camp, Mafa. When we came in contact with him at the camp, with support from @un_ocha we provided him and other children with mental health and psychosocial support.
He was also mentored on life skills (tailoring) for some months and learned how to sew, after which he was provided with a start-up kit (a sewing machine) and now earns money to support himself.
Every child deserves a better future, let’s give children affected by conflict a chance to build back their lives
A better humanity is possible
