Ensuring Continuous Education for Conflict-Affected Children in the BAY States

In our effort to ensure the continuous provision of protective, inclusive, and quality education for conflict-affected children across the BAY states (Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe), we have taken significant strides to adapt and innovate in the face of adversity.

 

At the heart of our initiatives is the commitment to engaging learners in Non-Formal Education (NFE) and alternative learning modes. In Gujba LGA of Yobe State, we provide educational opportunities tailored to meet the needs of children displaced or otherwise affected by conflict. These programs are designed to offer flexibility and support, ensuring that every child has the chance to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances.

 

 

 

 

Education is the right of every child, and it cannot wait, irrespective of the circumstances a child finds themselves in. This principle guides our efforts across the BAY states, where the need for education is more pressing than ever. Conflict and instability have disrupted traditional schooling, but we are committed to ensuring that learning does not halt. By providing alternative learning modes, we are working to bridge the educational gap for out-of-school learners.

 

In Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states, this initiative has reached children who would otherwise be deprived of their right to education. These alternative learning modes are designed to provide a quality education that can adapt to the changing needs of our learners.
