Yesterday in Musawa, a joint supervisory team from Save the Children International (SCI) and GoalPrime Organization Nigeria (GPON) engaged key stakeholders to assess progress under the Education Cannot Wait – First Emergency Response (ECW-FER) initiative.
During the visit we had:
Special recognition was given to Community Volunteer Teachers (CVTs) for their unwavering commitment. Technical feedback gathered during the visit will inform strategies to further strengthen the program’s impact.
This initiative funded by ECW, implemented by GPON in partnership with SCI, and supported by the Katsina State Government is part of a broader mission to reduce the number of over 800,000 Out-of-School Children (OOSC) in Katsina.
Let’s amplify the message: Education in Emergencies is possible.
