GOALPrime Organization Nigeria (GPON), in collaboration with our esteemed partner, Save the Children International, and the governments of Zamfara, Katsina, and Kaduna States, officially launched the Education Cannot Wait (ECW) First Emergency Response (FER) project. The kickoff workshop, held in Kano, brought together key stakeholders to provide comprehensive insights into the project and underscore the importance of continuous collaboration throughout its implementation. This transformative initiative aims to impact over 137,000 children across the three states by delivering gender-transformative and inclusive education and protection services.
Additionally, it seeks to build stakeholders’ capacities in climate change mitigation and anticipatory action planning, fostering long-term resilience and adaptability in education systems.
The workshop featured the Country Director of GPON, Dr. Christopher Chinedumuije, who presented the organization’s detailed action plan, reinforcing GPON’s commitment to ensuring impactful and sustainable project outcomes.
